Spiced Huckleberry Jam

This week’s recipe puts a new twist on huckleberry jam!!

Spiced Huckleberry Jam

2 quarts huckleberries
4 1/2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon allspice
1 – 6 oz. bottle liquid pectin

Crush berries with sugar and spices.  Pour mixture into a large kettle and bring to a quick boil.  Boil 2 minutes and add pectin.  Skim jam and pour into hot sterilized pint jars.  Seal at once.

Makes 3 pints or 9 – 6 oz. jelly glasses.
